Here's my new baby, still not fully formed but it's getting there. ;)

Lots to do in the lighting and texturing department. Still learning.
Hub caps are temporary and the bonnet catch needs a bit of WD40 to help it close properly.

All C4D 8.5 modeling using lofted splines, converted splines, cloned points and edges, plus more besides.

    Cheers, Al.

Ahaaa...now we know who will be playing James Bond in the next movie!

    Looks very good.
Only remark, but that's probably a suestion of lighting also, and a bit of obsession with paints: I get the feeling the car has been repainted. I'd say the effect is as if the paint on it is spread out too thick. Hope you see what I mean as it's difficult to explain. Reflections are there, but if a salesman showed me this car, I would never believe it was a new one. Because of the paint.
But you will undoubtably work your way through the slings and arrows of outrageous paint also!

Arrgh! My chop shop has been discovered already. :(|

You are right about the lighting Erik. I'm having a ball trying to understand and control the technicalities of radiosity and textures.

I grab every tutorial and sample that I can and disect it down to the last nut and bolt.
There are so many variables and sub-menus lurking beneath the main interface and a tweak in one can make or break the whole scene.

But I'm nuts :B ..... on this application, that is. ;)

    Cheers, Al.

Shademaster has a set of presets you might be interested in.
I agree: the more I try using lights, the more I admire the electricians who prepared all that cozmick stuff a few days before it was said: "let there be light!"

    Let there be light!

When the lights give you problems, don't use any. [confused]
Just use self illuminating materials and use Radiosity Rendering.

Simply microwave at full power for ten minutes, et Voila.

    Cheers, Al.
