Poser Models for all to use {Some nudity in this thread} Hey, hey, just thought I would put a cents into this thread regarding the learning curve aspect of the 3D app world...IMHO, I would suggest that the easiest app to learn the basics on would be Strata... then up to Cinema if ya need some more headroom... then to a large app such as 3DSM... Thus, Strata gets my call for new 3D app users... Anybody differ with this opinion? Meet me out back... lol

Poser Models for all to use {Some nudity in this thread} Yea Stu You can do some basic modeling in Poser, however I think most of the more complicated mobels are created in Studio Max or Cinema, and then ported for Poser. The texture maps are done in Photoshop for the most part, although any paint program would work. And they use a program called UV Mapper to map the textures to the model. Gidgit Yea I agree with you about Strata, and there is a free version avalable as well The other program that is a little easier to get going on is Blender, however this no longer available. OZ No nothing under that's why she's busted.

Poser Models for all to use {Some nudity in this thread} Vee All I do is put the image on the screen and press the 'Print Screen' button on the keyboard, This will put a copy of whatever is on the screen on the clipboard. Then you can open PS create a new blank document and the just go to Edit/Paste and the screenshot will be placed into your document. That is of course if you and using a PC, i am not familiar with Macs By the way I have been doing some work on the Chevy Here is a look.
