I'm new to After FX need tips for making CoD montages

I'm new to After Effects and I need some tips for making Call of Duty Montages such as cool color corrections or effects thanks in advance.

As a complete newbe with AE I found the best help possible from Video Copilot.
Andrew had me up and running in notime and the site is just awsome.
Proof of statement -> Last two minutes of my tutorial Lightbox Background.
I would not have been able to pull it off without Andrews tutorials.

hey, i would definitely check out Andrew Kramer's Videos on Video Copilot.

The best thing with Andrews tutorials is that even if he sometimes use 3rd party plugs, he realy strives to do stuff with what's allready there in AE. So if you got the default CC-stuff - you find lots of tips on how to use them.
Plus - Andrew's got a bunch of VCP's own presets and plugs available for dl-ing - for free !!
