    Resto

Hello, this is my first post here. Any and all input is appreciated.

This image was a request from a family member, just a general restoration.
Starting from an 8x10, this image was pretty heavily discolored and had some blotchyness and tears. I have spent around 4 hours on this image over the last month or two... you could say I'm taking my time.

One of the biggest hurdles in this project was dealing with minimizing the texture from the surface of the photograph. If I remember correctly, I probably applied a median filter over all (or smart blur, I cant remember), followed by cloning/healing. Thankfully the shot was semi blurry to begin with, so I don't feel like I lost much of the original detail.

    Any thoughts?

    Nice Job Twelvebitstyle.

This is really good, nice re coloration, and you did an excellent job getting rid off the grainy texture, that task alone would take you a long time to accomplish.

Wow, that's a brilliant job. What a transformation.
I've got a few family photos over a hundred years old. I'm going to see what I can do with them.

I've tried my hand at that as well and wasn't able to come close to what you achieved! Nicely done!
