Like microscopic. It will have the same proportions as I entered but for example, a 100 x 100 pixel rectangle(when I enter those dimension) will turn out to be like 5 x 5 pixels.
Any idea why?

Hi,

I was working on a project that had a document space of 2x6. I moved an item REAAALLLYYYY far away. I kept enlarging the document area (Image/Canvas Size/) until I saw where the damn item was. I moved the document space to a whooping 200x200 inches. lol. I know that sounds really stupid to do. But I had no idea where it was, so I encreased the canvas size till I found it.

I found it at the VERRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYY edge of the 200x200" document.

I moved it back and tried shrinking the document back to 2.6 then had the error message disk scratch are full.

Whenever I try to open it says disk scratch are full.
C Drive have 459GB Free.
I've already deleted all temp files content by going to search, keyword %temp% and deleted all that appeared.

how can I open up the file and change the document size back to normal? I just want to open the file and shrink the canvas size back to normal.

Ram is 8gb and the file size is 232MB, not large, just that the canvas size is 200x200.

Thanks.

I mean, the item I had to move was at the very edge of 200x200inches. lol

Hello, thanks for having me on these boards.

I am trying to fill the inside of a path with foreground (dark green) colour. No matter what I do, instead of filling the path, CS6 fills the area outside the path! Frustrating would be an understatement! (see attached)

I must have missed something obvious, but what? I followed Adobe's instructions exactly but perhaps during previous work I changed some default setting.

I'd be grateful for advice.

Hi,

I apologise in advance if this is the wrong forum for this question.

When I cut and paste from PDF into Photoshop there is sometimes a partial black "keyline" around the image. By partial I mean it can appear on one or more edges of the photo/artwork, or even not at all, it seems to be quite random. These lines are not desirable and, up until now, I have simply been cropping the image, but this can be quite a tedious task.

My question is: can these black lines be got rid of without the need to use the crop tool?

Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

I recently purchased a new printer (a Brother MFC-J5910DW all-in-one wireless A3 I believe) and when I print from Photoshop, the colours / image comes out awful and I mean that bad that I spent a long time playing with cleaning the ink cartridges on the printer as I thought it was a blocked cartrdige. It was only after I printed directly from the windows explorer that I discovered it was Photoshop that was the issue.

I tried playing around with the colour management (between "printer manages colour" & "photoshop manages colours" and played with the individual settings. I also tried playing with the colour settings through "Edit>Colour Settings" & tried a few different options in there and it seemed to make no difference. I tried saving the PSD as a JPEG and re-opening then printing and again no difference. I also tried opening the same JPEG in Serif Photoplus and that printed perfectly.

I've seen a lot of disscussions about prints not matching screen colours which I understand but haven't found anything like this. The images below demonstrate what I am referring to, they are scans of the prints. Excuse the bits of writing / print on the images, these were test copies just done at low quality on pre-used paper just to make sure my mother was happy with the layout (I did also try printing in high quality aswell and his made no difference).

Hi

I've been successfully cutting out portraits from a white background and placing them in a layout design but each of the cut outs has a very thin white line showing that is from the edged of the original image. I can use a mask brush to paint this out but when we save the cut out with the lines deleted, they still are there when we reopen the template at a later time! Am I missing something from refine edge's preferences? I work in the schools market and have lots of cut outs to do. Help.?????
they can be selected they don't perform their function. (ex. brush, clone, eraser).
All other functions seem ok.

Hi Gurus,
CS6 Quickmask is driving me batty (if not already). I use this function a lot and out of a clear blue sky it has decided not to work. Here is what I know and the action I have taken so far with no results.
It behaves like this. I can activate it by its' icon or by entering Q. Shows as in Quickmask mode. Then when I start to paint on the mask, I am not getting the usual 100% opacity red color for it. It is about 50%. I paint this on and then click the icon again to activate the mask. It activates but it selects the whole layer! not what I brushed on.

I know that the foreground color has to be set to white and is. When it is activated white turns to grey as normal.
I know that the brush opacity settings and flow need to be 100% and are.
I have tried changing the options in the mask preferences pop up window..nothing works to solve this. I also deleted the old preferences folder prior but it still did the same thing.

I have even completely uninstalled PS and re-installed it. I have no 3rd party plug-ins in the Plugins folder, I removed them prior to the new install process and tested to see if that was the problem. No joy.
Anybody got any idea what may be happening here with this? Thanks in advance for your help.
