I've noticed I can give images a bit more depth than I get in Ai, by using the Layer fx in Photoshop. Still getting to grips with all the many tricks, but I'll get there.

Project Briefing

We are looking for a brand that uses the name (VRASE, all letters have to be readable) as a symbol itself, recognizable and versatile across different platforms. Quality, durability and popularity are concepts highly attached to our brand. Please avoid drop shadows, 3D effects and so on. Should your logo has color gradients or gradient meshes, please attach the solid black version as well. We are not looking for a brand that looks futuristic or techy but that is user friendly, catchy and appealing, and strong enough as a stand alone element on packaging design. Logo needs to work in both ways, with or without tagline. VRASE is an international brand.

I kept the design simple with the "V" being the focal point. The "V" is in the form of a speech bubble with the idea the company is designing the ultimate headset.

I think it's done, might give it some more work in a while, but anyhow. Let me know what you think! (I wanted him to look like powerful god, but I somehow cant shake off the feeling that he sort of look like a drama queen who arent pleased at all standing in the middle of the ocean.)

Hmmm.. why are my pictures loosing saturation? I have the right color profile. It doesnt loose the same amount on another forum I use to post on. Anyway, might be my screen that is off.

I created this Hope wallpaper to celebrate the release (finally) of the Man of Steel movie. I made all the shapes and textures myself, including the suit pattern.

I am not looking for critiques, but I won't turn them away if offered up.

You may use this as your desktop if you like it. I have a larger 2560x1440 version available for those of you sporting huge monitors.
