    3D and motion studies

    I'm studying the way thing animate, and although the attached isn't a movie yet, I think I've got a lot of the characteristics of pouring paint down.

    Trivia: That isn't a photo of Elvis in the background; he's an impressionist.

    A few observations from someone who has poured a lot of paint. There should be a sheen of the pigment on the inside of the can at least. Really a coating. The pour looks great but much more viscous than real paint. The puddle is too circular. Paint tends to become an amoeboid shape within seconds after hitting.
