PhotoShhop 7 Confiscated my pics

Yesterday I re-loaded PhotoShop V7 and it has identified some 8000+ pics I have on the drive. Now when using win explorer and I click on a pic, PhotoShop loads and then loads the pic in PhotoShop.

Before I reloaded PhotoShop, when using win explorer and I clicked on a pic it would display on screen and I could select and advance thru all the pics in the folder.

All/any help appreciated (these pics represent the latest 237,123 years of my life)

Sounds to me like photoshop made itself your default image viewer, jpegs, tiffs, pngs, etc...

Fix this problem by navigating to any picture in windows file explorer, right clicking the picture and go to "open with", then choose the image viewer you would prefer to use, you might have to browse around. Make sure that you click the checkbox at the bottom to remember that program as your default picture viewer.
