Need to remove extra brush strokes from the typography!

Hi to everyone!
First I was working in the white background when I did brush strokes to the typography.But i don't realize until I saved it for the png format that I was applying the brush strokes otherthan needed. Here the snapshot of the work.

Can anyone help me to remove the white strokes from the blue background without deleting from that black letter!

Yeah go to select >color range click on the letter hold down the shift key and drag the cursor around the letters until pretty muck all is selected the go to select > inverse then sample the blue colour and paint over the whole image with a brush with the same blue
