Removing a tree branch from a photo

I have been working on removing a tree that I photoshoped out.. the problem I have its over the top of buildings an I have been reproducing other areas of the building then reconstructing the building. I have one section that I can't really do this. What is the best suggestion here?

I stitched a photo together, I found another part of the image that I can use, but I need to blend it all.

    Thoughts?

    See photo

Here is the photo. Any suggestions will be great.

You can see in the right photo the branch is darkening the building.

I am making a mess of this.

How can I remove this tree, or take the section behind the tree and blend it into the top pic?

It looks like you are going about this a good way. This is just a matter of cutting, pasting, blending, time and patience. You're lucky that the buildings have good source areas to pull from, although I could see the church at the bottom being a little more complicated. Would it be possible to see a less cropped version of this image to get a feel for how it looks as a whole after the branch removal?

Are you using the healing brush on the mountains? Focus on areas of transition and contrast and take time to align your clones. Try cloning on to a separate layer and moving/transforming small areas until things line up. once you get the edges lined up, come back and clean up. Here's a little two step screen shot of what you're working on. I hope that helps

You should be able to finish it off with the healing brush and maybe some colour correction with contrast to give the picture some boost.

Thats a great shot! Your retouching isn't attracting my attention, so thats good. But knowing what and where you are modifying i detect some dark smudginess. Good work, keep it up!

Well, here is the final product. I think it looks pretty good.

what version of PS do you have?

so you have content aware? I don't know how well it would work on this example.

I know you're finished and it looks good though I haven't examined it close up, but if you have content aware, you might want to experiment with it.
