    Removing part of an image

Hi im new to the forum, was hoping someone could help me out
I would consider myself as an average photoshop user but i just cant seem to do what i want and was hoping someone here would be able to help me

ill post up the part of the image to see if anyone can help me, within the image there is a Picture frame and im just looking to remove it so that it looks like a clear wall. Not sure if it is possible tbh but id thought id try here as someone might be able to help.
Its the picture frame above the guys shoulder, ill post up the full image if thats more helpful but if someone would be able to do it let me know
    Any help appreciated Thanks

Hi, this link doesn't work. I only see a partial image. You can directly post a pic. Just look for the tree icon for posting. It's in the quick reply box as well as your original advanced message page.

Oh, that's easy enough, especially since the edges are all square. Different ways to do it. You can select pieces of the wall, follow the door for the right angle, switch to the move tool and hold down the alt/option key. Do that a couple times. You'll probably have some color tone issues as you get up to the ceiling. One way to correct that is to take a soft brush, set it as a reduced capacity, sample the wall color and fade in some brush strokes. You'll be sampling a few places as you go. Best to make a new layer above and paint.

Or select the lighter wall color, switch the color samples and sample the darkest color. Use a gradient to fill the selection. You might still have to paint a bit. If you're going to use the gradient tool, it might be best to select out the entire portion of the wall behind him, right up to the corner. Then you can fill it with the gradient and it should be pretty smooth.

You can select the picture frame and whatever it is around that, delete the picture, or mask it out. Then fill it with the wall color. Then do the same as above blending with the paint brush.

Also, you can open the photo in Bridge and there is a good red eye function there.
