Waterproof sticker paper for an inkjet printer?

I had someone ask me if they had waterproof sticker paper for injet printers. I looked it up and found some but since it seems pricey I figured I would ask you guys and gals, If any of you have ever worked with this and where the best price is. He wants to make his own decals for his car and motorcycle but does not want to use my plotter. He wants a cheaper alternative that he does not have to rely on me for. haha Also if it works well I may consider using this stuff as well for oddball stuff.

I've never looked for it so I don't know.
I would think it would be very difficult to get good results on an inkjet printer.
