Sometimes things DO go right

After having my previous company go out from under me, after spending three months on unemployment, and after taking my savings right to the brink of extinction........

I started a new job today.

One in my field...one I really wanted...and one that actually pays a decent wage.

First days on the job are always shattering, but I feel really good about this, not to mention breathing a HUGE sigh of relief that this came up before I had to do something desperate, which was only about 30 days away.

Sometimes things do go right.

I work in the legal field. It's been hard the last few years, with firms shutting down or reducing their workforce. I consider myself really fortunate to have found something I really want to do.
