Evil is a scapegoat

I can´t stand it anymore, I can´t stand hearing the bu**** spoken by so called devout religious people.

I can´t stand hearing the bu**** spoken by society.

A child is molested, the world screams vengeance and death to the molester, religious people scream of evil, there is nothing worse than the monsters that do these things. They deserve death, they deserve an eye for an eye.

Innocent children are very important, they need to be protected.

What happens when an innocent child fails to be protected? What happens if no one notices the abuse?

What happens when these innocent children grow up?

They do what they are taught.

They abuse as they have been abused, they hate as they have been hated.

Good Christians scream “Kill them! They are evil! Off with their heads!”

It makes me sick, people use the term evil as a scapegoat for their own dirty thoughts. Something else to blame.

God did not create evil, therefore it cannot exist, and if you believe in evil, you don´t believe in God.

You are not acting dumb at all. I was thinking among other things about what happened to you, and how doing what someone did to you, revenge, some people seem to think that is the solution. I think it will only perpetuate war.

I must say Vafann that I am having some difficulty following this post. But the last sentence, your reasoning that since evil exist that God cannot? If this was true it would be saying that good cannot exist because evil does. And I think you and I both know that good does exist. Surely you see good in this world somewhere. I guess then I could make the statement that evil can't exist because good does. You would say that I am blind and crazy. If you are going to follow this route in your thinking then you have to be able to apply the same logic in the opposite direction.

I suppose it depends on what premise you have built the thought of God on, if in your mind God is good, and God has created everything, then the concept of evil cannot have been created by God, unless you haven´t made up your mind about what God is, and this just goes to show that people make up God as they go along. As well as they make up Evil.

yeah, but you have to remember, that their upbringing also dictates their feelings on that, i know it sounds stupid considering what has been going on, but i hate the idea of revenge, because it will just be like an endless tennis rally of hitting eachother and nothing will essentially be resolved, just worsened. I'm going to sort it out in the best way possible. be assured.
