Actions and Plug-ins in CS6

I am having problems with some of my actions and my AV Bros Page Curl pro plugin in CS6. An action I use a lot is an Alphabet maker and it gets stuck at set selection even tho I have the selection tool on. The Page Curl I can't get to work even tho I have contacted the creator of it. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? Thanks.

I don't have any idea, but the first thing I try when PS is doing weird stuff is reset the preferences, but it doesn't always solve the problem.
