    Official September 2010 Photo Contest from ButterflyStock.com

    This is an official PhotoshopGurus.com contest sponsored by ButterflyStock.com

    Basic Rules:
    Post a photo that you took or a digital illustration that you made of any butterfly, insect, or flower. This can include any other insects such as bees, dragonflies, beetles, moths, etc. The images may be manipulated in Photoshop or original as shot, and digital art/illustrations are also accepted.

    Submit your entries here in this forum thread. Submit the highest resolution version of the image possible. You are allowed to submit multiple entries. If your image is heavily manipulated or you are submitting digital art such as a vector image then please save the original art files in PSD or .ai format in case you are picked as a winner, but you can submit a flat version to the contest such as JPG or PNG.

    You must be the legal owner of the images you submit. Do not post anyone else's work. Failure to follow this rule may result in permanent banning of your account.

    Deadline:
    All entries must be submitted on or before October 14, 2010

    Prizes:
    First Place Prize - Free Copy of Butterfly Stock Vol. 1 plus 5 extra unreleased Butterfly PSD's, and $20 cash by PayPal. Retail value $44.97

    Second and Third Place Prizes - Free Copy of ButterflyStock Volume 1. Retail value $19.97.



    The Fine Print
    By entering, Entrant represents that he or she owns or has the rights to convey any and all right and title in photo(s) or digital illustration(s) submitted as part of the contest entry. By entering, Entrant grants to Sponsor and/or PhotoshopGurus.com a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free copyright license to edit, publish, promote, republish at any time in the future and otherwise use Entrant's submitted photo(s), along with Entrant's name and likeness, in any and all media for possible editorial, promotional or advertising purposes, without further permission, notice or compensation (except where prohibited by law). By participating in the Contest, Entrant agrees to release Sponsor and/or PhotoshopGurus.com and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and employees from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.

    I'll start it off seeings how more than 1 image can be submitted
    My wife took this picture 10 years ago, the resolution was bad from the start but what the hey!
    Bubbles in a bottle ........ I mean butterflies in a bottle! lol

    Yes, you can use the ButterflyStock images to make your entry. Anyone else who needs some butterflies can use the two free samples found here.

    Of course you are also welcome to make something original and not use our butterflies.

    This is my go at it, nothign much but I feel it's good


    The main image is mine, but the Butterflys are off that site you link to in the thread, and I didn't safve it as a PDS, just a jpg

    I suggest putting some reflections of those BF in the water....... ; ) now that would be cool!
