| Website Design Contest! Hiya folks! Ok this is a contest of a different type, but since it involves the use of PS, it's totally viable to be posted here. It is NOT an 'official' PSG contest, but rather, one offered to be run 'through' PSG. So we're more than happy to provide a vessle through which this contest can be funneled. Below are the specific details. If you have any questions/comments please address them to the email given in the details below. This isn't my contest so i am not able to provide any help directly. | Re: Website Design Contest! Here's the first entry folks. The sponsor of the contest has included some technical notes about this design, to help others get a better feel for what they're after. I've now opened this board so people can ask questions, provide suggestions, upload their own entries, etc. Please use this priviledge accordingly. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1) The conscensus was that the purple colour was not quite appropriate for the background. We had in mind earth tone colours, perhaps a spring green or a very pale green. 2) The reference to City Core Developments was good. However, it's positioning and display was too prominent. We would prefer a smaller print at the bottom corner of the page. 3) Also, we did not want a musical association with Harmony Village. So the musical chords are inappropriate. 4) The leaves were a nice touch, but perhaps in brighter colours. 5) Also, the main picture is too busy--perhaps, just one picture with calming things in it such as trees, water, etc. Because of file and pixel size, this image is linked instead. Click the following link. Design One
