I need some help making a vector out of part of a brush, anyone can help me?

I would like to make a vector out of the black part of the brush

I tried using threshold filter, that black area needs to be retraced

There's a lot of similar looking vectors floating around, might be easier to just use something that's already vector format. It's hard to get the smae level of quality and cleanness when converting from raster to vector.
