Me and my friends are making a new Content Management System built on modern web 2.0 technology. We need a simple and clean logo to be able to promote the new project named "Postexus".
The logo should be Web 2.0 kind of style only the name "Postexus" is necessary on the logo - other graphics or images are optional.
As a student I have very limited funds but I'll see what I can find. Just state your price (PM it or reply in this thread) and I'll see if I can afford it. I can however promise you a link from our website www (dot) postexus (dot) com (can't post links) and credit when the system is being released to public (read me file and source code). Currently we only have a forum but a better and more informative site will be ready soon.
The system will be open source - most probably licensed under GPL v3.
No suggestions will be used without your permission.
There is no official standard for what makes something “Web 2.0”, but there certainly are a few tell-tale signs. These new sites usually feature modern web technologies like Ajax and often have something to do with building online communities. But even more characteristic among these brands is their appearance. Web 2.0 sites nearly always feel open and friendly and often use small chunks of large type. The colors are bright and cheery — lots of blue, orange, and what we jokingly call the Official Color of Web 2.0: lime green.
To get the look and feel of what I'm looking is more like these logos: http :// fontfeed . com/archives/the-logos-of-web-20/
Remember: The logo should be horizontaly rectangular as it will serve as a banner at the site postexus.com.
No slogan - just Postexus! I would like to see some suggestion without using any other graphics, just the word in a nice rounded and larg font in some soft colors. Keep it simple.
Oh sorry, I joined this site a long time ago and I must have forgot that detail... I just searched today for "freelance photoshop work" in google and i was echoed to this page. (sign-in info saved)
I am legitimate, though, I have a deviantart (DoTTGaMMa on deviantART), and I've done a lot of work for various peoples and gaming servers on the internet. I use Paypal so transactions are safe for the buyer as well, and not only that but I have my watermark in my image... And the .PSD if you want that uploaded. The method I use is, I finish the work, and then get paid when the user is satisfied, so I am trustful. (user gets content & rights before payment)
I know, I do not have over 30 posts, I am sorry for that. (doesn't that influence spam?)
If you have a problem with the works provided to "Starefossen" then you reserve the right to remove my content if you see it as a violation.
