| Manga Referring to Moth's cool cartoony creation http://www.photoshopgurus.com/forum/...p?topic=7531.0 I thought taking a dab at Manga/Japanese comic book art would be "fun". Look at http://www.howtodrawmanga.com/tutorial.html for some tips on how to go about it. It's a good exercise for pen tools and vector shaping and also to maybe to expose those who've not really looked at this type of work before. It's quite bold and stylish - and then after doing the line art, you can proceed to do some colouring. FUN! ![]() Here my amateurish little attempt (certainly not of the quality or diversity of Moth's composition) to get us going: |

| Re: Manga http://www.thefreedictionary.com/edgy edgy adj. edgier, edgiest 1. Nervous or irritable: The performers were edgy as they waited for the show to begin. 2. Having a sharp or biting edge: an edgy wit. 3. Daring, provocative, or trend-setting: an exhibition of edgy photographs; an edgy menu. I was using it in context of #3. So I guess that's good Good "attitude" pose there with the body added. Anyhow, I had another go. Not terribly exciting I'm afraid! |
