Rule change: Attaching images to posts

Any links to image sharing sites will now be blocked and will be extended with more sites if needed. It's sadly a descission I had to make because some members continue to ignore my request not to post links to images on third party servers.

I noticed that blocking image sharing hosts is going to affect too many posts, so I've decided not to block the image sharing hosts anymore with the board's software, but to block the use of the IMG tag instead. This means that the link will still be visible, but not the image.

I will however remove any future links to image sharing sites with ******* and add a comment why it was removed.
Please read this the first post in this thread to fully understand why I have to make this decision.

I just joined your forum and was dismayed when I kept seeing the little red x where pics should be. Now I understand.

Any pics I post will be hosted on my own servers, is that okay?
