Changes to the Freelance Section
The freelance section of this forum gets a lot of traffic. It is an important part of the community for some members, and we are making an effort to improve it for everyone.
We have posted some new rules for freelancers and also some instructions for buyers that we hope will encourage more job postings and better responses.
The most important rule change is that if you are a freelancer you must have a minimum of 30 posts and have been a member here fro at least 30 days in order to post in that section. This rule only applied to freelancers and not to buyers, and is for everyone's benefit. Failure to follow this rule will result in account suspension.
In the future we will be making additional changes to the section to improve it further. Please let us know if you have any suggestions or feature requests.

Looks good.
A nice feature to think about for future changes would be for forum members to be able to create a portfolio on the site, maybe like attached to their profile somehow.

You could also post a subsection, where "freelancers" could make a "Referrals thread", this would be used by members that have bought work of a "freelancer".
Then in that sub section, make a stikky, and call it "Trustworthy freelancers", you can have Level 1 trustworthy, Level 2 trustworthy, and so on, admins and mods would have to desied what the list value would be, but the more work a freelancer dose, the more reffs he/she would get and a better chance of not having a scammer.
I guess this could be used untill they make an "iTrader" for VB 4.0.

Hi Shopped and KRF, thanks for your input.
@Shopped - this is something we are working on. You can kind of do it right now by creating and album for your work, or you can simply make a thread in the Showroom forum.
@KRF - There is a thread for freelancer reviews here that is intended to be used for buyers of freelance work. I'll think about your other suggestion and see if there's a way to do it.
