    Scratching my head on this one

    Hi all, I've just registered, looks like a great site.

    Anyway, I hope you can help me solve a big problem. I have a black sky with small pure white stars, much the same scale as you'd see by looking up at night. I need to make the white of the stars disappear so I can fill those holes with another layer sitting behind the black.

    That's it, probably dead easy but I can't find a good way of doing it. Thanks!

    Hey, I must be stupid. I've just seen the answer two posts down from this one. That solved the problem perfectly.
