Pixel problems in Adobe CS5

Hello everyone,

First of all thanks for the worderful job I don't know what I would do without you guys.

I've tried to find a fix for my problem but I'm not really sure what my problem is; I'll let the experts guide me.

So... after I start working on an image a bunch of crazy pixels appear on my image. it doesn't matter what type of image it is or what i am doing (resizing, droping, etc).

I really don't have a clue what to do... tried recalibrating my monitor; checking the drivers, reinstaled cs5 a couple of times... :(

Here's the photo and the crazy pixels... hope someone know how to help me.

Are these images from a camera?
Can you be sure the card isn't damaged?

If you take an image off the web does the same thing happen?

the images are from my pc (taken from the web) they aren't from a camera. as i said it doesn't depend on the image, photoshop does the same for every image i use.

The image starts out OK and then goes bad?
I missed that in the 1st post.

Did CS5 work OK at some point and then this started to happen?
Is this a laptop or desktop?

It sounds like a video card driver problem.
You said you checked the drivers, the video drivers?

The more information you provide the more likely it is we can figure out the problem.

I would update to the newest video drivers or reinstall them if they are already the most current.

You can also try resetting the preferences file.
Start Photoshop and immediately hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows)
or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS X).

Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"

yes the image starts ok and after a couple of moves (like aplying a brush or resizing) it goes crazy ; i'm not even sure how to call it - the crazy pixels effect

cs5 worked fine and then i had to reinstall my windows and all my programs. so when i reinstaled cs5 it went crazy

i'll reinstall (again) my drivers. did the ctrl+alt+shift and a restart but still nothing :(

you can also try purging photoshop history to do this go to Edit>Purge>All You wont be able to go back in your pictures and undo what you have done anymore but it could be a problem with your clip board. Often this will clear up a whole host of problems. Good Luck...

Some i think important problem questions:
1. does these pixels saves? if does, then when open and do stuff, is there appearance of new ones?
2. image open normaly (as i understand) then after some manipulation goes "crazy", then question - does after CTRL+Z image goes back to normal? If does then after new manipulation with image does new pixels appears exactly the same place or diferent?

(honestly i don't think that i will know the answer but thats should narrow suspects)

Other thing...try run Video Memory Stress Test.

Just tried myself and computer survived and didn't do any bad.
(maybe someone knew newer this kind of tool)
