    Creating a font in photoshop

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to create a font in photoshop. I would like to take an existing font and apply effects to it (gradient, dropshadow etc) and export it as some type of font. Either .fnt (bitmap) or ttf would be preferable. If this is not possible in PS does anyone know of a good program to use? Thanks!

Hi Robin Woodby Welcome to PSG

yes you can create, design your font characters in Photoshop or Illustrator once they are created you need to use a font editing software like FontCreator in order to import, manage and save your designed characters set as Font files

    Hope this helps

Yes, it's definitely possible as I have done it before a few times myself. I used the below tutorial to get the general hang of it, then just played around with it to get the desired results.
