How to save a set of actions to use on multiple other images

I have learned how to create a style of image using a photoshop tutorial.

To prevent me from having to continuously follow those steps for each pic can i not just apply the settings to other pictures as a saved action set?

I am brand new to photoshop so apologies if this is very basic

i am using photoshop CS5 extended edition

    just create an action...

go to your actions panel, create new action...
    record...
go through your special steps, when finished stop recording...
    mission accomplished...

remember... the google is your friend...

Batch is the name for action used for multiple files, so search for - batch photoshop cs5 in google.
Or Adobe Photoshop CS5 * Process a batch of files thats from PS help file.

But be VERY CAREFUL! I mean extream CAREFUL! And one more time BE CAREFUL!!!

And still i strongly sugest you, if you not sure what you are doing with batch settings then DON'T do it.
You can easily spoil all images you got on your disc.

P.S. At least try not use "Include All Subfolders" checked ever. For own sake.
