that was a good write-up. I was a little unsure on what the clone stamp tool was for. I do have a question about the spot healing brush though. What does it do, or how does it work, when you drag it? I've used it before on single click clean ups but I'm not really sure what the dragging does for you

The spot healing brush is a good tool, it's mainly used for blending two things together from a sample texture.
