Font Sharpness?

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to create a logo for my partners shop and the font doesn't seem to be as sharp as it should be. The fonts on my MS Powerpoint look sharp as I'd expect to see on CS5 so I'm sure its no my Laptop (Dell Precision m70)

Any help would be appreciated.

have you tried adjusting these settings


failing that go to edit > preferences> rulers and measurements and change the type to pixel it will seem smaller than point size because it is so you have to adjust for it.
