How do I go about making this simple image better?

Sorry, not sure if this is the right.. anything. It's my first time here and I'm just looking to improve this picture.

I do quite a few simple things on photoshop but I have no idea how to go about making such an image look less rough. Many things I want to use it for, awesome if anyone could fix it or tell me how I would go about doing so myself.

It's best done with vectors and since most beginners have a hard time with them, I've done it for you. The PSD is also attached below the image, in case you want to make a modification.

Note that I only drew one half and mirrored the other.
