Problems printing with CS5

Okay, I can definitely say I'm running PS 64 bit.

Below are some specs I just found on my computer, and I have not changed it to run differently than when it was installed.



Adobe Photoshop CS5:

Version: 12.0.2
Last Modified: 9/18/10 10:32 AM
Kind: Intel

64-Bit (Intel): Yes

Well if you're running 64bit and everything fine after you checked the 32bit box, you're all set.
Evidently checking that box isn't forcing PS to run in 32bit mode.

With all due respect, Steve, did you check that information, or is this an assumption preceded by "Evidently"?
The following link, Photoshop CS5 plug-ins provides the answer: yes, checking the "run in 32 bits" checkmark does force Ps CS5 not to run in 64 bits on an Apple computer.

It was an assumption on my part based on MLC1959 saying "Okay, I can definitely say I'm running PS 64 bit."
As I've been saying "As a Windows 32bit OS user I'm still trying to understand the situation."

I have no way to checking this for myself.

I see you're an old timer here 2002, welcome back.

Goggle is a great tool I use it often when researching member questions, but I don't fact check statements made by a member, unless I know the statement is wrong.

I assume what the member says is accurate.

As a Mod I try to respond to as may messages as possible, sometimes just to bump the thread.

I do say, up front, if it's something I'm not familiar with.

Thank you very much for sharing this problem and solution.
I had exactly the same... and applied the "check/uncheck 32 bit"... and it worked.
Has anyone any logical explanation to this?
