CS4 ellipse tool locked to draw circles

Hope someone can help. I have managed to lock the ellipse tool to only draw circles. Don't know how I did it and can't undo it!

I am trying to design some club logos and really need my ellipse tool back

In Windows that happens when you hold down the Alt+Shift keys.
Did you remap your keyboard?

You can try resetting your preferences file.

Start the Photoshop while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows)
or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS X).

Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
