Photoshop CS4 gives amtlib.dll problem after system restore

    It is a legal copy.
I did Win 7 SP update over a 3G connection, and it messed up badly. I did a system restore, but now Photoshop CS4 will not open. Gives this:

    Application Version: 11.0.2.0
    Application Timestamp: 4bf2d91c
    Fault Module Name: amtlib.dll
    Fault Module Version: 2.0.1.10077
    Fault Module Timestamp: 488fb154
    Exception Code: c0000005
    Exception Offset: 0000000000037e58
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.48
    Locale ID: 3081
    Additional Information 1: 1258
    Additional Information 2: 12584be4219ae44c0462ea59aa42de09
    Additional Information 3: f4a2
    Additional Information 4: f4a21ed565edf710beed504b077038c2

I would uninstall and reinstall, but how can I deactivate. "Help" in associated CS4 apps does not have the deactivation option, or not that I can find so far.

Anyone have any idea what I should do?

Yes. No prompt. No change. Just "Photoshop has stopped working"

I am thinking I shall probably have to do deactivation by phone along with a win 7 reinstall given the number of other problems that have arisen from my failed Windows Service Pack install.

If you have only activated this once before, you can activate it again after an uninstall/re-install of just Photoshop. If it doesn't work you can just give Adobe a call and they will help you sort out activation.
