Unhappy PS CS5 - basic color picker not functioning properly

    hello,

i've been digging around on the internet for awhile but i've given up trying to resolve this issue, i'm sure it's some stupid setting that is clicked or not clicked that's causing this issue.

as you can see, when i click my color picker it does not look like it did last week, i don't have the HEX color option under this anymore, and i don't have the normal color scale choices that the default settings normally do.

if i click define custom colors the other choices come up, but again it's not the original color picker i'm used to, it's limited.

i don't want to reset my PS if i don't have to, anyone have any ideas?

    Try:

Edit>Preferences>General>Color Picker>Set to Adobe NOT Windows.
