i hate doing this but could you maybe tell me some of how thats done, im picturing a really cool site with that kinda stuff on, ive always wanted to be able to make really cool 'abstract' (is that the right word) kinda stuff like that

i like making wallpapers and sites, most of the effects were blurs, motion blurs and radial, used a lens flare, and put in some grids ( big and small ). No blending options used.
