i have just finished making all the pages for my site, ive sliced all the buttons and content parts, so i open the page in my editor and link all the buttons, then i get to one of the smaller buttons. i go to link it to the page and it shifts all my things up leaving white cracks everywhere. along with that a small purple box comes around the link. PLZ HELP i want to put this on the web

You need to add the "border="0" attribute to the image tag.

So the whole thing would look like:

    Code:
    <a href="path/to/file.html"><img src="path/to/img" width="x" height="y" border="0" /></a>

fetus, Kelli is right you need the border="0" tag. This only applies to images used as a link, the browser will automatically put a border around it if you don't specify Border="0" :B

If this dosen't help let us have a look at the page.
