Page made in photoshop amd imageready

Hi all. I ended up deciding that I wanted to redo my schools hideous arts department page. It was horrible in the first place. Black bg with that ancient swirling... midevil text. you know, the whole eleborate thing. It really didnt represent the school's art program. So I redid it. There are a few errors which I will eventually fix, but right now i have no time. Tell me what you think. thanks!

Can you tell me how you made that rollover effect ?
I mean the changing picture on the little screen is that only html ?

but i'm quit new on this.

In Adobe Imageready there are different rollover states. You first has to change the buttons (or whatever the mouse goes over) into slices. After that you have to get the Rollovers pallete. In the pallete you will see your slices. you can click on one of your slices, and then click the new button to make the first state (other than it being just there as is), which is the over state. After you make that state, you can edit the layer, the brightness, contrast, whatever you want it to do. There are many states... like over, clicked, release, etc. What I did was I created a slice for the image holder and for each button, and for each over state of each button I unhid the picture that has to do with the button.

And that's how I did it

Yeah, no problem. Sorry about the spelling mistakes, I don't get enough sleep to type correctly all of the time.

Hey Alistair. Than new home page is a great design. Nice job. I echo the hope that everyone at your school appreciates just how good it really is.

Its very good Alistair --When I first opened, I was confused by why the two unequal metal bars on the left hand side, then it becomes obvious when one uses the disjointed rollover menu. My suggestion would be to drop the bars or have an opening page photo of the school positioned there.

Good type font selection and other graphics.
