Hey x900,
This is obviously personal as everyone likes something different creatively. I don't care for the color scheme - especially purple. I also think the background should have smaller texture.
1st thing, I noticed that you use netscape's logo for your favicon. Why is it so?
The concept of torn paper for background is nice, but I think you need some practise on the skills. Good luck ;)
X900, I would recommend that you work a bit more on the technical. I didn't have time to look at your script but the whole screen disappears when your click on a menu item. That shouldn't happen. I'd also tone down the background colors a bit.
I like your logo, however, I think it should be in stronger colors than your background so it stands out.
A professionally crafted logo design plays a vital role in developing brand awareness and reveals the company's business nature. Your logo design must leave a strong impact on its viewers and must clearly portray your business.

x900, I will have to say that your design/layout needs extremely large improvements. You might consider visiting ThemeForest.net to get an idea of what a good website looks like.
Hope that link helps you!
Well, that took care of any cataracts I may have had. Reading g.a's post above - the purple was so demanding that my brain didn't stay focused long enough to pay attention to the objective.
As an ex-copy writer, I would suggest the lowest letter count within the fewest words + the most simple, recognizable image is the best way to reach g.a's goal. You dare not make people think these days! ...maybe - on page 3.

Still in planning stage for this page but getting there.
I'd add some style to the nav buttons.
