School video page....

Alright, I just put up a video page for my school. It's not really targeted at the public yet. It's main for our school and church - Homework, assignments, previews, etc. But it's been fun learning with it and expiramenting. I did it all my self too, even took the pictures in the gallery (which needs expanding). So, I just wanted to see what you guys thought.

Re: School video page....

I liked it...it just wasn't long enough!

I thought the lighting, camera angles and cuts were well done...oh, and the performers were great too.

I would only suggest the video be encoded using the .wmv format for web viewing. This allows the video to start playing while still being downloaded. Here's a quick sample I did. Screen size is the same but the file size is about half (3.06mb).

Patrick's Video

What camera and video editing software was used?

Re: School video page....

Ah, I see Doc. The other video on the 'Video 2' page is wmv (it's a different vid though), the first one is mpeg because because we're using the new Power Mac G5 and Final Cut Studio Pro to edit with. We also have 2 XL1's.
Yes, I know it's short, because it's just a sample, and it's only part of a whole video we're doing. It's a seasonal video based on the Christmas performance our choir did this year. We took alot of traditional Christmas songs and...well, lets say, spiced 'em up. There will probably be a preview of the whole thing once it's done.
