Crisp Images

Hi Guys,
I've been working on the programming side of the web for a while, so my knowledge of ps is limited to basic tasks and minimal adjustments. Recently I decided to create a web site for myself, and I came to a stop because..... of the poor image quality I am able to create.
Even if (I think) I have a clear idea of what I want to accomplish, all my tries have resulted in failure ! I read dozens of tutorials and tried dozens of suggestions found here and there on the web, but no matter what I do, my images do no appear as 'crisp' as the ones you could find on the big guys sites.
Here comes the question :
I have an high resolution image that I just want to adjust to my design, but when I resize it it comes always out as blurred or without definition, not 'crisp' as the ones (for example) you can see here http://www.sandals.com/general/wedding-basic.cfm
Please help me find the right path :-)

Thanks !!

PG

Re: Crisp Images

Do you have specific examples of what you're talking about? It's kind of hard to infer from an entire website. If you could post a specific photo or two and point out where the problem lies, it would help us to help you.

Also, what process and software are you using to resize your images?

Welcome to PSG.
