Question is this a decent PC Tablet ??

Hi all. I've been considering getting a PC Tablet (most prob. Wacom brand) and amwondering if anyone here may have used the "Bamboo" model. I have not used a Tablet before , and want to experiment with photoshop.Does anyone know if this particular model has reasonable functionality with photoshopCS4 and other graphics' programms like 3DS MAX. . Maya ??? ...this is just on a hobby/enthausist level, nothing professional.

Haven't used a Bamboo myself but have been advised strongly against it! Apparently it is only suitable for doodling. I have a Genius tablet which was much much cheaper than any of the comparable Wacom ones and works beautifully.
