Please Read! - Guidelines for this Board.

This board is experimental at the moment.

What the Purpose of this Board is...
The intention of the board is to be a 'resource' only, and to provide folks a place to read up on various types of graphics products, ranging from simple plugins or filters, to full programs, and hardware as well. The difference from these reviews when compared to the type you'll usually see around other sites, is that these are created by 'general users', and will be written in a casual manner; not filled with techno-jargon. Which means they can contain personal opinion from the author. So it's advised that readers read the reviews with an open mind.

NOTE: if anyone has a problem/question/comment with/about a review, they're free to talk about it on the "Product Review Feedback" board. That's what it's there for.

Writing a Review...
1) The reviews can be written by anyone who cares to provide one. But... they are subject to review by the Forum staff first before they'll get published to the board. This is just to ensure quality, clarity, and make sure things stay relevant. The authors will be notified in a timely manner as to whether their review will get posted or not. If a review is not approved, an explanation will be provided, and perhaps some suggestions as to how it can be modified to meet the criteria of the board. After which it can be resubmitted.

2) Don't be too long-winded with your review. We aren't posting technical manuals here.
Please try to speak casually when writing your review. We want this information to be "from one user to another". So it should be easy to understand, and not be 'too' technical. It is however acceptable to provide a certain level of technical explanation should that be required. Just don't make the entire review sound overly technical.

3) Reviews should be written as a plain text file and submitted along with any support files; such as example images, etc. Please do not send copies of demo products and such. A download link will suffice.

Example images and other types of support files can be attached to the review. Please send this stuff to either myself or one of the MOD Squad. We'll go over it and get back to you asap.

Using the Board...
There will be no 'direct' replying to posts made within this board. It is a "user resource only" type of board. If anyone has questions/comments about a specific review, they should either contact the author directly, or create an appropriate thread within the "Product Review Feedback" board.

Thanks for your attention.
If you have any questions regarding this information, please contact me.
And if there are any other details to be outlined here, they will be added periodically.
