Upgrade Question: Photoshop CS4 to CS5?

Hi All,

I currently have Photophop CS 4. I'm new to Photoshop in general. Would those of you who have upgraded to Photoshop CS5 share any favorite new features and let me know if it was worth the upgrade price for you?

The one feature that stands out to me is Content Aware Fill. I find it pretty useful for touch up and removing objects from images. It usually only takes a few clicks to remove an object, and it works a lot better than the Clone Stamp tools in most situations.

Most of the other updates/upgrades in Photoshop CS5 are minor, and Photoshop CS4 is just as capable for nearly any task. It just comes down to your budget and needs, and of course how much you use Photoshop. If you are just starting then PS CS4 is probably more than adequate.

Thanks Gaussian, That is helpful. The Content Aware Fill Tool sounds pretty powerful. From what you've said, I can see how it could come in very handy. I'll keep that in mind. Appreciate your comments.
