Custom Shapes: Planet Symbols
A friend of mine asked me last week to design some "planet symbols" for him. I didn't even know the planets had symbols. 'Oh yeah,' he said. 'Just like the Zodiac ones!'
So I did a search on Google, and sure enough, I found the planet symbols pictured below:

In designing the symbols for my friend I created a Custom Shape for each one. I thought I would share the file here for anyone who is interested in aquiring it.

So good of you to share C9Mouse! Thanks!
Here's a little tip... just create and then open up a an "empty" folder in your preset/custom shapes folder. Once you've created and saved your custom shapes, rename and save your file. The next time you want to create/save another set of custom shapes, load up that empty folder again! Saves a lot of 'deleting'... ;)

How do you open an empty folder, or create an empty one?

;) Good question... I never even thought to expand. :\
Okay, you know what you did C9... you found the "smallest" folder and then you dumped the contents.... right? Okay, so after you've done that, take that same empty folder and do what you did, but rename the file "empty folder" ! ;) Next time you've created a special set and want to save it independtly, just load up that "empty folder" (fill 'er up) and save under a recognizable name. Always keep your "empty file" EMPTY (shapes, custom brushes, whatever....) for this very reason... creating your own custom files! Works for all 'PS presets'!

Thats what I have done with my swatches
Go into presets find your custom shapes preset and duplicate it,change the duplicates name to say null meaing empty. Now open your null in PS delete all shapes, you will probably have to leave one shape to save it. Everytime you make a new shape layer go into presets and duplicate your null, then rename the one you want to use.Saves heaps of time escpecially if you are making a custom swatch.
I have a null swatch zipped for download in of the recent threads, sorry cant remember which one though.

Its a real time saver Al.......it took soooooo long to remove {individually as you have to} those swatches to make a null swatch. Why cant adobe just let you make a new empty swatch from the comfort of a PS menu.
