Two shortcuts
Two interesting shortcuts that I found;
[list][*]If you have recently copied an image to the Clipboard, Photoshop will automatically insert the dimensions and color mode of the Clipboard image when you create a New Document.
To bypass this feature and recall the last settings, hold down the Alt key; Ctrl+Alt+N or Alt + File / New[*]Hold down the Alt key while using the Dodge tool to darken, or to lighten with the Burn tool[/list:u]

Important...
...try to use the ALT key in combination with the other tools on the toolbar; you will be amazed of the possibilities.
Just try the eraser, brush and blur tool for example.

you know...there's more to life than "Photoshop" man. You should take a break from writing tutorials and tips and play some chess, or read a nice coffe table book for a change.
