    Ok,ok, I admit a noobie...

    A little help required here, photoshop geeks... (uh, I mean gurus )... anyways, please check out these pics:

    Original:
    Manipulation: (-------sorry, images removed , thanks for all the help peeps--------- )

    I think the manipulation seems way too unrealistic. What do I do to make it look more realistic?

    And uh... btw, the original photo is 500 some years old [confused] which I scanned in (okay, maybe not exactly 500, hehe, but close -- somewhere in the 1970s... hehe ;)). My mummy & daddy in law when they got married.

    In the first manip, the biggest problem I see is light and resolution. The original mage is lit from the front and the background is not. The difference in resolution is very obviious. Might try some noise on the bg layer...
    The second one is plagued by color. And has the same lighting problem.
