    a newbee, wanna make a b/w photo to a colour photo.how can i?


    dear experts,
    well,i m a newbee in PS.
    i want to make colour photo,frm a scanned b/w photo.

    how can i?
    pls guideme by giving step by steps

    the only way i know would be to retake the photo........or paint it by hand.........

    for simple coloring technique I use "color replacement tool" in "brush tool".

    First, I have to select the area I want to paint with color, whether using "quick selection" or polygonal lasso." Then, I pick the right color using "eyedropper" to or from another picture with human face and do the paint.

    Still need some further adjustment such as opacity or even blending mode.

    I've seen people do this, from B/W to colour, just saw a picture of Rocky balboa done this way, amazing how it turned out, looked more like a painting though than an actual picture
