My mother-in-law has hired me to digitally design some Christmas cards. She gave me this description.
"this is what I am thinking....snow falling on a christmas tree with a full moon in the backgroundAND (here's the kicker). I want a daisy coming up thru the snow. The daisy is the eye catcher.....maybe a moonbeam shining down on it ..."
This image is what I have 'so far'. I'm will to change.
SO...
Do you think I've designed what she is aiming for?
Is there anything 'noticeably' obvious that needs to be fixed or changed.
I like the design but the trees on left are all iced over and snow covered and yet the tree on the right untouched. I also am not sure about the beam of light coming from the moon when you already have a constant glow coming from it. Ok I now my suggestion could be seen as religious but it is not meant to be how about the beam of light coming from a Star

Doesn't have to be a beam at all .... more like a soft moon glow.
Here it is after some slight darkening/highlighting. I like it a lot better. I do think a star would be more 'christmasy' but she asked for half moon. I'll bring it up to her and see what she thinks. This advice is awesome guys. keep it coming.
