Free Website Builder | Create a Free Flash Website at Wix.com offers free hosting and webpage development. It offers quite a few features and is quite user friendly. With templates ranging from Artist to product pages and pretty good to get your feet wet in website creation and design if you have never done it before!

i was going to suggest wix as well. they'll give you everything you need to get started, including hosting.
