    CSS/HTML resources.

    Gaussian had told me recently that he learned CSS and other web stuff...
    I'm mostly web illiterate, well I know the basic tags, etc, but what resources did you use to learn?
    What program(s) did you use, and for what reason (tools, ui, etc.)

    I know that you are VERY busy, but when you have time to drop a post, please do so, and of course, other members are welcome to chime in.

    Re: CSS/HTML resources

    I think this is a good site that has HTML and CSS guides, with beginner, intermediate, & advanced level.

    http://www.htmldog.com/guides/cssbeginner/

    Well done site and I second sfm's recommendation of the W3schools site, which has excellent guides on utilizing CSS correctly.

    Re: CSS/HTML resources.

    Photoshop and Dreamweaver 8. I?ve been using Dreamweaver for the last 8 years (since version 2) and I feel pretty comfortable with it.
    I switch a lot between wysiwyg and code view and Dreamweaver?s code editor is excellent. I use it mostly for XHTML, CSS and PHP.

    Btw, those people who say they only use Notepad have no clue what effective web design is (based on facts) so you can pretty much ignore them Pierre. But let's not get into that and continue with some resources;

    Core CSS Cascading Style Sheets

    Css+html

    This short tutorial is meant for people who want to start using CSS and have never written a CSS style sheet before.

    It does not explain much of CSS. It just explains how to create an HTML file, a CSS file and how to make them work together.

    After that, you can read any of a number of other tutorials to add more features to the HTML and CSS files. Or you can switch

    to using a dedicated HTML or CSS editor, that helps you set up complex sites.

    Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a stylesheet language used to describe the presentation of a document written in a markup language. Its most common application is to style web pages written in HTML and XHTML
