Please gimme advice

I didn?t know into which thread to post this message.
If I posted in the wrong one please move it in the right thread.
I am a dentistry student, and want to make a website on the teeth treatment problems and teeth implants.

I wrote several articles for this theme, installed the wordpress engine, but I don?t like what I see in the result.
Could you recommend me a designer who could improve the look of my website and how much it would cost me.

ya know, I'm a designer and illustrator, so, I tend to go a bit 'overkill' I suppose. But I'm beginning to change my philosophy when it comes to websites. Having just gone through some extensive research, on the web, regarding which camera to buy, I found myself hungering for sites like yours. It's to the point, concise and clean. Not fancy or visually complex. The text is easily copied and printed for reading later ( a lot of older people don't like reading info on a computer ) I personally wouldn't do much to it.
